Katja Mandlmaier is a research associate at the Institute for Production and Informatics in Sonthofen. She works in the field of additive and circular manufacturing, with a focus on materials science. After completing her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and her master’s degree in materials engineering, she became involved in research on innovative manufacturing technologies. Her current work explores how material properties can be influenced by additive processes and applied in more sustainable production concepts
