Carl Fruth

Carl Fruth studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich and then began his professional career as an application engineer at EOS GmbH. There he discovered his passion for additive technologies and recognized early on the transformative potential of additive manufacturing.

Since the founding of the FIT Group in 1995, then still a small garage company, Carl Fruth has significantly shaped its development into an internationally successful group of companies with his entrepreneurial foresight and technological pioneering spirit. As early as the early 2000s, he recognized the enormous potential of additive manufacturing for the industrial production of end products.

As CEO and technological pioneer of FIT AG, Carl Fruth consistently pursues the goal of establishing additive manufacturing as an industrial-grade and scalable production process. More than 20 significant patent applications and patents bear his name.
