Erwin Keeve is Full Professor for Surgical Navigation and Robotics at Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
Prior positions include Visiting Professor with the Interventional Center at Rikshospitalet Oslo (2007-2008), Division Director of Medical Technology at the Research Center caesar in Bonn (1999-2007), and Research Associate within the Department of Radiology at Harvard Medical School in Boston (1996-1999). Professor Keeve obtained his doctoral degree in 1996 in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science under the supervision of Stanford-Professor Bernd Girod and Max-Planck-Director Hans-Peter Seidel at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg. He has worked successfully with different start-ups as co-founder, chief scientist and investor. He holds more than 25 patent applications and authored/co-authored about 250 book chapters, scientific journal, and conference articles in his field.
